Definition
Amount of the cumulative provisions for accrued income dissolved (released, or reversed) in the course of the settlement run.
Use
Within the framework of subsequent settlement (Purchasing), provisions for accrued rebate income can be posted. The amounts of the provisions are updated as part of the statistics of the Logistics Information System.
These provisions allow the current material price valuation to be influenced by allowing now for anticipated income from the end-of-period settlement of volume rebates (retrospective discounts) due from vendors.
A precondition for this is that the indicator "Provision" has been activated for the condition type in Customizing.
In the course of settlement accounting, payment, etc., with regard to a condition record, the cumulative provisions for income are dissolved. In the case of an advance interim settlement, however, the maximum amount dissolved is the amount of the income achieved.
The amount of the provision dissolved as a result of a settlement run is shown in this field.
