Definition

Production version of the header material to which the current production version refers.

Use

In co-product manufacturing, you will need this information for production versions that are created for a BOM item marked as co-product, and not for the header material of a recipe or BOM.

When creating a process order for a BOM item, the correct production version of the header material can be automatically selected using the BOM item production version.

Note on maintenance

• You can maintain production versions for BOM items in the material master only.
• The BOM production version must have the same number as the corresponding production version of the header material.
• The other header material replaces data about alternative BOMs, BOM usage, task lists (recipes) and apportionment structures.
