Definition

This value specifies the lower limit for using the DeMinimis rule.
During legal control, the rule is valid for certain legal regulations. It pplies to the export of material in a certain country at a certain point of time.

Use

Certain legal regulations have lower value limits for materials relevant for export control, depending on the country of destination. These materials do not need an export license until they exceed the value limits.

Example

If a document - that is, an order - contains different materials with the same export control class, the system adds their values and determines whether the value limit has been exceeded.

Only then the system considers them as relevant for export control and searches for a suitable export license.
