Documentation
Definition
Indicates which object was changed directly.
Use
If the object was changed directly (e.g. through the entry of an account assignment category, the changed object is shown in this field.
Note
In this case, the values of the Object and Object 1 fields are identical.
If the object was subject to a consequential change, (e.g. maintenance of account assignment data due to entry of an account assignment category), this field shows the object that was changed directly and which thus caused the consequential change.
Dependencies
Example
You wish to subsequently assign a requisition item to a cost center. You thus enter 'K' in the Account assignment category field and also enter the necessary account assignment data.
In the change document, you then see two lines generated as a result of this change:
Account assignment category changed from ' ' to 'K'
Object Short descr. Conseq. change Old New value Object 1
Item Acc. assgt. cat. ' ' 'K' Item
Through the entry of the account assignment category, the item was changed. Since this was not a consequential change, the value shown in the Object and Object 1 fields is 'Item'.
Account assignment data maintained
Object Short descr. Conseq. change Old New value Object 1
Acct. assgt. 01 X Item
Through the entry of the account assignment data the account assignment was changed. This is a consequential changed caused by the entry of the account assignment category. Therefore under Object 1 you see the item (direct change) and under Object you see the account assignement (consequential change).
