Definition

Indicates which change is to be cancelled.

Use

Dependencies

  • If you cancel a previously made change, the values of dependent fields are adjusted automatically.
    Example
If you cancel a change in the delivery date, the system automatically readjusts the release date.
  • If the values of a field are changed several times in a version, the changes must be cancelled consecutively, starting with the most recent change.
    Example
In a purchase requisition item, the quantity of material is changed repeatedly from the original "120 boxes (bx) of screws" as follows:

Change             New quantity             Change document

1            150 bx screws             30560

2            200 bx screws             30564

3            220 bx screws             30567

In this example, the changes can only be cancelled as follows:

  • Change 3
  • Changes 3 and 2
  • Changes 3, 2, and 1

You cannot cancel changes 2 and 1 only, for example. This is because the new quantity of change 2 (200 bx) does not correspond to the quantity in the requisition item (220 bx).
