Example

The following types of release against scheduling agreements (consisting of a header and delivery schedule lines) are used in materials management:

  • Forecast delivery schedule
    • (Corresponding EDI terms: "planning schedule with release capability", ANSI; "delivery schedule", EDIFACT DELFOR; "delivery instruction", ODETTE DELINS)

  • JIT delivery schedule
    • (Corresponding EDI terms: "shipping schedule", ANSI; "delivery just-in-time", EDIFACT DELJIT; "delivery instruction" ODETTE DELINS)

  • Sequenced JIT delivery schedule
    • (Corresponding EDI terms: "production sequence", ANSI; "sequenced delivery" and "sequenced packaged delivery", ODETTE SYNCRO/SYNPAC)
