Definition
Grouping of your choice of various production versions for planning purposes. For example, you can assign a planning identification to all run schedule headers produced on a particular production line. Not only a grouping according to a particular place is possible, but also a grouping according to time.
The planning ID is determined by selecting a production version.
Use
If you access repetitive manufacturing via a planning identification then all data and receipt elements of all production versions are displayed that are assigned to the selected planning ID. This means that you can gain an overview of how much is produced on a particular production line over a certain period.
