Documentation

Definition

Indicator that determines whether the planning data of the materials belonging to a material grouping are to be evaluated together or separately.

Use

If you set this indicator, the available quantity is calculated individually for each element of a material grouping. In addition, separate stock and horizon lines are outputted for each element.

If you do not set this indicator, the available quantity is calculated in total for the materials, the stocks belonging to the same stock category grouped together, and just the horizon of the header material displayed.

Dependencies

To display material groupings such as product groups in the stock/requirements list, use the IMG activity Materials Management -> Consumption-Based Planning -> Evaluation -> Display Material Groupings .

To define and activate customer-specific groupings, create a new implementation of the Business Add-In MD_CREATE_GROUPING.
