Definition

Indicator that controls the selection of MRP elements to be used for stock transfers between the plant and MRP area within requirements planning.

The following ways are possible:

• Stock transfer reservations from plant to MRP area
• Purchase requisitions from plant to MRP area

Use

Procedure

You maintain a special procurement type for the stock transfer from plant to MRP area. You can specify the MRP elements to be generated by requirements planning by using the indicator "Stock Transfer"

Dependencies

The indicator only appears if the production plant or transfer plant corresponds to the ordering plant, and if the "Stock Transfer" value or "Initial Value for External Procurement" is entered for the indicator "Special Procurement".
