Definition

A warehouse process describes a series of warehouse activities that are included in the calculations of the workload in the warehouse.
The warehouse process is uniquely derived from the operative documents that generate a workload in the warehouse.

Use

A warehouse process is used to calculate a workload that is used in a variety of applications:

• Wave picks
• Rough workload estimate
• Transfer order

Execution

An assignment table is used to determine all warehouse activities for a warehouse process. The workload is then calculated and accumulated for each activity from a workload table.
