Definition
When updating info structures in inventory controlling, values that are only defined on the material/plant level are collected in data records with the storage location <blank>. When you execute standard analyses with the evaluation option "standard", the values that are saved under storage location <blank> are distributed proportionally to the storage locations that are available. If you select the option "standard without distribution" this allocation does not occur. Values that are updated under the storage location <blank> are also displayed separately in the standard analysis under this storage location. In this way, it is possible to carry out an improved comparison of the standard analyses regarding receipt and issue values with the document overviews for materials management.
Note, however, that only quantities and not values are updated for stock transfers between storage locations of the same plant. Therefore, it is possible that in individual cases a value is shown although the quantity is zero.
You can find more information on the various evaluation procedures in the notes on inventory controlling (components MM-IS-IC and MM-IS-IC-RPT).
