Definition
The average invoice price is calculated by dividing the invoice value by the invoice receipt quantity.
Use
In the standard system, the Purchasing Information System calculatesthe key figure by carrying out standard analyses. The invoice value and the invoice receipt amount are updated when invoice receipt takes place information structure S012).
Dependencies
Please note that the calculation of the average invoice price can only occur on an aggregated plane (for example, for material groups or purchasing organizations) when values with the same currency and quantities with the same unit are cumulated.
