Definition

Order value for which sales orders have been entered, but no delivery has been made.

Use

In the standard Sales Information System, the updating of this key figure by the following events:

• Entering a sales order: the open order value increases
• Entering a delivery: the open order value decreases

The open order value is updated in statistics currency to the information structures S001, S002 and S004.

Two update rules exist for this key figure in the standard sytem. One update rule describes the setup of the open order value, another update rule describes the decrease by the relevant deliveries.

Note

Note that the statistics currency is saved for a sales organization. If values from different sales organizations are cumulated, different currencies could exist. In such a case, *** is the unit displayed.
