Order value for which sales orders are recorded but no delivery has yet been made.
Use
In the standard of the Sales Information System the update of this key figure is influenced by the following events:
- Recording a sales order: the open orders quantity increases
- Recording a delivery: the open orders quantity decreases
The open orders quantity is updated in the information structures S001, S002 and S004.
Two update rules exist in the standard for this key figure. One update rule describes the build-up of the open orders quantity, the second update rule describes the decrease through the corresponding deliveries.
Note
Note that the system stores the statistics currency for each sales organization. If values from multiple sales organizations are cumulated, it is possible that various currencies are used. In this case *** is shown as the unit.
