Definition

Number of purchase order items and scheduling agreement items, which were assiged to range 4 due to their percentage variance in the quantity delivered.

The variance in the quantity delivered is the percentage variance between the quantity ordered and the actual quantity delivered.

Use

In the standard system, the Purchasing Information System updates this key figure on the entry date of the goods receipt or the purchase order change, when a purchase order item has been completed (information structure S012). A purchase order item is then noted as completed, when

  • the "delivery completed" indicator is set

or

  • the goods receipt quantity is greater than or equal to the purchase order quantity

or

  • the item is deleted.

Dependencies

The variance in the quantity delivered is valuated with the help of a grid. You can set the range limits for this grid in Customizing for the Logistics Information System. You can set four range limits so that a total of five classes can be used for valuation.

Definition of the grid is dependent on the purchasing organization.
