Documentation
Definition
When copying statistical data, if the both source and target information structures, and source and target version are identical, Copy Management uses a buffer version internally. To run multiple Copy Management jobs in parallel, you must differentiate them in the indicator "Parallel mode" (letter or number).
This functionality is only offered in the expert mode, but not if the data source is external to LIS and the data target is updating. The indicator "Parallel mode" is only useful if, when copying, both the source and target information structure and the source and target version are identical.
Note
Because the source data needs to be changed, the online update must remain at least in the area to be processed by Copy Management. You must select the different parallel jobs for Copy Management so that independent data areas are processed, for example by different periods.
