Definition

You set this indicator when you only want to change key figure values in an information structure. This can improve performance levels considerably.

If you choose this option, then the source and target of the data must be identical.

Changes made to characteristics values by means of a method are ignored, i.e. the changed data record is not updated.

If a method generates more than one target date record from a source data record, then these data records are not brought up to date.

Note

If you use this option, then this means that you cannot use any of the other options under Source data / Edit at the same time. This also rules out the option of using an SAP functional enhancment for importing external data.
