Definition

Using this option, a write protection (lock mode "E") is set for the source and/or target table (on the info structure/version level), which means that the data is locked during the copy run and can be read or processed by Copy Management only.

The underlying lock object is E_RMCSCM.

This function is offered as a selection within the expert mode only, but not when the data source is LIS - external and the data target is the transfer to updating.

You can select the following values:

0 -- lock no tables (information structure/version)
1 -- lock source table (information structure/version)
2 -- lock target table (information structure/version)
3 -- lock source and target table (information structure/version)
