Definition
The mean delivery time in days is calculated by dividing the total delivery time by the number of deliveries.
Use
In the standard system, the Purchasing Information System calculates this key figure during the vendor, material and material group analyses. The total delivery time is the total time between purchase order and goods receipt in days. It is updated when a goods receipt is entered (information structure S012).
The number of deliveries is updated when a goods receipt for a purchase order is entered.
