Documentation
Definition
Defines the max. material price up to which stock management units are to be allocated to the sampling area.
Use
The upper price limit is used to identify stock management units pertaining to expensive materials which are then allocated to the complete-count area. Counting of each individual stock management unit in the complete-count area is mandatory.
The upper price limit is defined when you use the inventory sampling profile to create a sample-based physical inventory, but can still be changed until random selection has run.
In an inventory sampling in the Warehouse Management System, the system overwrites the upper price limit with the data from the upper value limit.
Supplementary Documentation - MBS_PREIO 0001
Use
The "Upper price limit (max)" displays the maximum price of all stock management units in the sampling area. If this price is used as the upper price limit, no additional counting due to the upper price limit will be required.
Supplementary Documentation - MBS_PREIO 0002
Use
The field "Upper price limit ... New" is used to simulate the division of the stock population with various upper price limits. The system proposes here either the upper price limit defined on the parameters screen or the maximum upper price limit, whichever of the two values is smaller.
The results in the line "New basic population" are based on the entries in the fields "Upper price limit...New" and "Upper value limit...New".
Use the Copy function to update the parameters by the new upper price and value limits.
Procedure
To simulate the upper price limit, enter a desired price.
