Documentation
Definition
Indicates the automatically calculated value ranges (dependent on the upper value limit) for the classes of the sampling area.
Use
The sample selection is not carried out directly from the entire sampling area, but via subsets of the sampling area, the so-called strata. Determination of the strata requires the stock management units of the sampling area to be subdivided into classes, each with the same interval.
The system automatically calculates the class interval as follows:
Class interval = upper value limit : 1000, rounded up to the next integer.
Example
If the upper value limit of the sampling area is 5376, the class interval is 6. The stock management units will then be subdivided into the following classes:
Class Values
1 0 to 6
2 6 to 12
3 12 to 18
... ...
