Definition
Output list is displayed as ALV Grid
Use
If you mark this checkbox on the selection screen of a report, the output list is displayed as a flat list as an ALV Grid. The reason for this option is to improve performance in the case of a large output list, because ALV Grid is faster than an ALV List output list and a hierarchical output list.
Dependencies
This selected checkbox is available on the selection screen only if Business Add-In (BAdI) MM_UI_OPTIMIZATIONS is active. You can activate it in the Customizing (Materials Management -> General Settings for Materials Management -> BAdI: Activate MM UI-Related Performance Optimizations).
If a layout field is available on the selection screen, the checkbox is taken also into account to determine the layout of the output list. So if the checkbox is marked, the layout field can be use for your ALV Grid layouts, otherwise the layout field contains the layouts for your default list.
The BAdI is only available in the Customizing if reversible business function LOG_MM_OPTIMIZATIONS is activated.
