Definition
Unit of measure in which the goods movement or physical inventory count is entered.
Use
Only enter a unit of measure here if it differs from the default unit of measure.
The default unit of measure is:
- the order unit for a goods receipt for purchase order
- the production unit for a goods receipt for production order
- the unit of issue for other movements.
If the default unit of measure has not been defined in the material master record, the system suggests the stockkeeping unit.
