Definition

Controls the format of material numbers, in particular, it defines the positions at which the system is to insert additional characters (editing characters).

Use

The material number is output in the length defined in table TMCNV; where appropriate, it is filled with leading zeros by the system. The template is made up of editing characters and selection characters; an underscore (_) denotes a selection character that is replaced by a significant character in the material number.
