Definition
Key that determines how a material is identified and therefore displayed on the online screens in the SAP Retail Store applications.
Use
You can choose from three values for the material identification:
- ARTN: own material number managed in the system
- EANN: EAN code or similar standardizations
- LIFN: material number at the vendor
You determine which types of identification you want to use in the different applications in the Customizing schema for the relevant application that is maintained in Customizing for the SAP Retail Store component.
In some applications it is also possible to change the identification online.
