Definition

Value for the absolute change of the sales price in sales pricing.

Use

Positive values mean markups, negative values mean markdowns. If you maintained a season for a material, then the price that was valid at the start of the season is used as the original sales price (original price) that is in turn used as the basis for calculating percentage changes. If no price existed at the start of the season, then the first price that was created in that seasonal period is used for calculating percentage changes. For all other materials, you can enter an explicit key date for the original price. If you do not enter a date, the 'valid- from' date is defaulted on the selection screen.
