This group of radio buttons controls the type of data evaluation.
The following two options are available:
- Evaluation via transfer order (TO) header data
- Evaluation via TO item data
For the evaluation via TO header data, the system assigns complete transfer orders to one of the possible blocks. You should only select this method when TO splitting based on the picking area is switched on to generate TOs to be picked.
Reason:
The logical key for assignment to a block is the source storage type and the picking area. Both of these fields are in the TO item data, which means that they could be different in separate items of a single transfer order. If this is the case, the TO cannot be assigned to a "normal" block. Instead the system assigns it to to a special block "other".
If this is the case, you should definitely select the evaluation via TO item data.
For the evaluation via TO item data, the system assigns the TO items individually to one of the possible blocks. In this case, splitting based on the picking area is not involved.
Special aspects about the planned TO processing time:
- For the evaluation via TO header data, the planned TO processing times are added together via the two fields in the TO header (planned workload in the WM system plus the planned workload in the external system).
- For the evaluation via TO item data, the planned TO processing time is calculated by adding together the planned processing times in the TO items.
