Definition
In this field, the planned quantities of the transfer order items in the picking wave are added together independent of their unit of measure (Un).
If the alternative units of measure represent the quantity moved in a pick by a picker, the system displays the sum of the number of necessary picks even when the various items have differing units of measure.
Example
Four items are added together:
4 bottles of apple juice, single bottles --> Un = 'BOT' , Picks 4
18 cans of cola, 6-packs --> Un = 'SIX' , Picks 3
80 cans of beans, 10 cans per carton --> Un = 'C10' , Picks 8
5 cans of peas, single cans --> Un = 'EA ' , Picks 5
Total = 20 picks
The system displays the value "20" in this field.
