Definition

In conjunction with the storage unit type, the system uses the loading equipment quantity to propose how to pack a quantity onto loading devices when placing a material into stock.

Example

100 cartons have to be placed into stock. In the material master record, you have specified the following palletization data:

Loading equip. qty    Unit of measure    Storage unit type

25    CAR (carton)    E1 (standard wooden pallet)

The system proposes you use 4 standard wooden pallets with 25 cartons each.
