Definition

Classifies the differences by cause (for example, breakage, theft, and so on).

Use

Differences can occur during the execution of goods transfers. You can specifiy such differences during the confirmation process. With the difference indicator, you define the storage type and the storage bin to which the difference is to be posted. Also, this information can be used in reports.

Note

If the indicator has the value '*', then a different difference indicator was set during the withdrawal confirmation to the one set during the transfer confirmation.
