Use
During creation or confirmation of a warehouse order, controls
- whether the actual putaway quantity is to be adopted as the delivery quantity in the inbound delivery
- whether the goods receipt should be posted at the same time.
If you do not expect any further partial quantities for an inbound delivery, and the delivery quantity is to be corrected according to the actual putaway quantity, select the values 1 or 2 (with or without simultaneous goods receipt posting). In this way, you ensure that the inbound delivery is completed despite a lower putaway quantity.
If you create multiple partial deliveries for a delivery in the central or decentralized Warehouse Management System (WMS) and want to post the goods receipt, select the value 4. The delivery quantity in the inbound delivery is then not adjusted to the lower putaway quantity, so that you can post further partial goods receipts for the remaining delivery quantity at a later point in time. In this way, partial quantities that have been put away are created promptly in inventory management in the ERP system.
