Definition

Each goods transfer in the warehouse affects a source and a destination storage bin.

The destination identifies the storage type, storage section and storage bin into which material is placed.

Procedure

When processing transfer orders in the foreground for a stock removal, the destination storage type and bin (usually the goods issue area and the customer order number) appear in the appropriate fields.

For stock placements, usually the storage bin to which a quautity is to placed is proposed by the system. You can change the proposed entries by overtyping the storage type, section and bin.
