Definition
Each goods transfer in the warehouse affects a source and a destination storage bin.
The source identifies the storage type, storage section and storage bin from which material is picked or removed.

Procedure
When processing transfer orders in the foreground for a stock placement using a transfer requirement, the source storage type and bin already appear in the appropriate fields. You cannot change these entries.
For stock removals or manually created transfer orders:
- If the source location is already identified:
You can change the storage type and bin suggested by the system. - If the storage type is acceptable, but you want the stock to be removed from another storage bin:
Enter a bin that is different from that selected by the system. - If you want the material to be removed from another storage type:
Enter a new storage type, blank out (use the space bar to erase) the storage bin, quant, and storage unit number (if one exists) suggested by the system and press ENTER.
The system will suggest a storage bin for removing material from the new storage type.
