Definition

When you request the picking of something that is stored using the active ingredient unit of measure, this field controls the generation of transfer orders. Regardless, the system creates the transfer order using a normal unit of measure since such units of measure are the only units of measure that are understable to most warehouse workers.

To update reference documents (such as deliveries and transfer requirements, the system notates the quantity of the active ingredient that is to be transferred in the transfer order item. This quantity represents the converted quantity that was calculated from the target destination quantity using the conversion factors that were valid at the time the transfer order was generated.
