Definition

This indicator controls which reference document an assembled or transferred HU is assigned to.

This indicator is only significant for transfer orders that are created for delivery.

Procedure

Generally, HUs assembled by way of a tranfer order are transferred to the delivery. If the delivery was generated as staging for a PP/PP-PI order (for components with the staging indicator '1': Pick parts), you can define in the production scheduling profile whether consumption posting is to be carried out via the delivery's GI posting or the PP/PP-PI order. If the GI posting is to occur via the delivery, transfer the HU to the delivery. If GI posting is to take place via the order, however, assign the HU to the order.
