Definition
Costs that are incurred, irrespective of lot size, for each purchase order or production order over and above the purchase order price or production costs.
Use
Ordering costs are used only for calculating the lot size in optimum lot-sizing procedures. They must be specified in the currency of the company code belonging to the plant.
