Definition

The sequence number of a service is an internal, technical key that uniquely identifies a service for all cases.

The key says nothing about the the sequence in which the service was entered or the service type, but is a user-defined sequence of digits.
This technical key cannot be assigned externally.

The number range interval for the sequence number of a service spans from 0000000001 through 8999999999.
From 9000000000 through 9999999999 cannot be used as this may lead to errors in the transaction. Refer to the section on technical number ranges in the IS-H Implementation Guide.
