Definition
The amount representing a second or subsequent charge to an object already settled. Settlement to the object is thus incomplete.
A settlement is incomplete if an object which has already been settled receives another charge from a different sender in the same settlement run.
Examples
During an object group settlement, object 2 was settled. In the same settlement run, however, object 5 is settled to object 2. This represents a new charge for object 2, which thus has an open charge from settlement.
