Documentation
Description
This key figure gives an overview of the tables to be checked according to checking group and checking rule as well as their use of frequency of use.
Use of the key figure for analysis purposes
This can be used to help determine the main points and scope of the
check.
The first optimization requirements can be set up using this representation.
If for example fewer checking groups are used quite often and they have a large anount of checking types, this can lead to the need for further checking groups.
Example:
If requirement for a particular material is always covered by in-house production, for reasons which do not need to be gone into here, a check of procurement transactions with a foreign reference (Purchasing; purchase orders, purchase order requirements) is not required.
In this case you can define a new checking group and assign all own-produced materials.
If these products are not sales relevant at the same time, the remaining checks are not necessary.
Structure and use of detail displays
In the detail display the number of items with ATP check according to checking group and checking type are shown. As additional information, certain control indicators from the checking type are shown. By selecting (doubleclicking) a line, you can display additional columns with key terms.
Notes for optimization
The inclusion of new checking groups requires cautious treatment with regard to business and technical system connectivities. Particularly if different company areas are involved.
If new checking groups are agreed for materials, for which sales
documents or items already exist, the existing documents are not updated. Due to the aging process and its temporary nature, the resulting requirements records will gradually disappear so that improvements in performance will only be noticeable over a longer period of time.
