Definition

Number that specifies to which inventory recount this counted result belongs. If the recount version is 0, this means that the counted results are from the main count.

Use

If the differences between the book inventory balance and the quantity counted in the inventory are large enough to suspect that counting errors have occurred, the inventory should be recounted. The recount version in the inventory header specifies how many recounts for an inventory number have already been initiated. Using the recount number and the recount version, you can determine the counting history of the quant.

Procedure

The system automatically updates this figure each time an inventory recount is executed.
