Length in which the content of a field is to be output.
Use
If a field is not to be output in its full length, you can specify the number of characters to be shown here.
Example
You want to insert the G/L account text in the document display. Since there is not enough room for the short text in the display (20 characters), cut off the short text for the display. To do this enter the desired number of characters (for example, 15) in the field "display length".
