Definition

The activity unit is either the time or quantity unit used to post the consumed activity quantities.

Use

The database records the activity type using the unit stored in the activity type master data.

You cannot change the unit in the master data if dependent data exists.

Subsequent plan or actual postings can use different units provided they are defined as convertible to the unit defined in the master data.
