Definition
Specifies what percentage of the time available is not used with operations. Takt balancing is a measure for the quality of the line balance.
- If the takt balancing is 0%, the time available is fully used.
- If the takt balanicng is greater than 0%, the time available is under- used.
- If the takt balancing is less than 0% (negative), the time available is over-used.
The system calculates takt balancing with the following formula:
time available
( --------------- - 1) * 100 %
time used
