Documentation
Definition
The operative rate allows you to adjust production to changes to the requirements situation, which occur at short notice. It gives the material quantity that you want to produce in the given time unit.
Use
The operative rate overwrites the planned rate that you entered manually in the line hierarchy for a longer planning period, or determined in line balancing. For example, you can use it to change the production rate for one shift only.
Dependencies
The operative rate has no influence on the maximum rate or on the speed of the assembly line. It simply changes the interval between a material going on to the production line and leaving it.
