Documentation
Definition
Gives the maximum number of individual capacities that you can enter for the appropriate line segment in line balancing. The system determines this maximum number from the line hierarchy.
Use
In the line segments in the line hierarchy, you enter a number of individual capacities sufficient for the maximum production rate. If the requirements situation changes, you can reduce this number in a line balancing version. This does not change the line hierarchy.
Dependencies
If you want to determine the number of individual capacities required for maximum capacity load utilization via line balancing, you can flag the indicator Maximum line balancing in the line balancing tabstrip Adminstration data. The system then copies the number of individual capacities into the line hierarchy.
