Definition
Specifies the quantity of the valuated stock of a material prior to posting.
Use
Before the posting, which was carried out by this document, this field is filled with the quantity of the valuated stock in the valuation area to which the plant is assigned in the document.
Dependencies
When you evaluate the data contained in this field, note that:
- to display the documents in the correct chronological order, choose List -> Sort by time of entry.
- If a material document contains several items for the same material, the system displays the same stock quantity in this field for every item in the document.
- If, when displaying material documents, you restrict your selection in such a way that not all documents per combination material/valuation area/valuation type are displayed (for example, by restricting the selection to the storage location), the total from the total quantity and the quantity moved in this document may differ from the total quantity in the following document.
