Definition

Key for determining the stock field that is updated by a goods movement.

The stock type to be updated is defined in the quantity string.

Use

The stock type defined here is used by Inventory Controlling and Quality Management.

At the time of a goods movement, the system proceeds as follows to find the stock field to be updated: It determines

  • The quantity string for the movement type
  • The stock type defined in the quantity string
  • The stock field assigned to the stock type

The following keys are possible for the stock field:

  • 01:    Unrestricted-use stock
  • 02:    Quality inspection stock
  • 03:    Returns blocked stock
  • 04:    Stock transfer stock at storage location level
  • 05:    Stock transfer stock at plant level
  • 06:    Stock in transit
  • 07:    Blocked stock
  • 08:    Restricted stock
  • 09:    Tied empties stock

This indicator is used for internal program control.

Please do not change the entry in this field.
Any changes made could lead to program errors or terminations.
