Documentation
Use
This field is used by the system for sorting empty bins in the Index of Empty Storage Bins. By automatically setting an entry in the field when the storage bins are created, the system ensures that materials are placed into stock in the warehouse in a different manner. Example: the warehouse is not filled aisle by aisle, but evenly from front to back.
Procedure
The system automatically sets a variable in this field on the basis of a user-defined table entry. If you want to change the sort sequence after the storage bins have been created, enter the sort sequence in this field.
Procedure for the System Administrator
As a rule, you define the variable before you create the storage bins. All subsequent changes only take effect for new storage bins.
