- If the indicator is activated, you can use materials of this type.
- If the indicator is deactivated, the system performs the following actions:
- The system hides the corresponding fields in the material master.
- The system deactivates the corresponding checks.
Dependencies
If you are not using materials of this type, you should deactivate the indicator. This provides the following advantages:
- Shorter runtimes
- More straightforward material master maintenance
- You can activate the indicator again at any stage.
If you deactivate the indicator, the system checks whether materials of this type are already being used as a reference material. In this situation, the system displays a where-used list and you cannot deactivate the indicator.
