Definition
When an invoice is entered, variances in quantity and conditions can occur between the data in the invoice and that determined by the system for individual items.
So that the vendor can be made aware of the variances, the correction indicator must be set and the invoice data entered.
If you cannot determine who is to blame for the error, the correction indicator must be set and the invoice data entered.
If the variance is due to an error on your part, only the default data is changed.
